Project of the Month - April 2

Just last month we did some painting at Macquarie Bank Building at iconic King St Wharf. This month we moved to a neighbouring American Express Building. It’s new addition to Sydney CBD. But being a very high traffic building it already required some maintenance.

So last 5 weekends we spend painting foyers on its 11 levels (will I ever get a day off?!) This is a very high security building (sorry, no photos from the inside), so the integrity of trade and good references are very important!

A curious milestone

My work van just hit a curious mileage – 101010km. Not often you see a number like this!

I managed this in just over 2 years, being based only 8km from the city, and running between our central Sydney jobs 14 hours a day, 7 days a week. Yes, we are always very busy!

Dress up cables

There are tons of solutions to hide, wrap and mask cables. But what if you power point is simply in a wrong place?

If you can not hide your cables – make them a cool design feature. You can use cute decals like these from PA Design. But you can easily create your own design and make it a little DIY project.

Project of the Month - April 1

It’s a late Sunday night and I only now finished my work.

Just yesterday morning most of wall of this Martin Place office in Sydney CBD were painted black. We worked all weekend and overnight to have it finished by Monday morning when a new tenant moves in.

Most of our offices jobs are like this. They have to be painted, cleaned and ready for a business as usual on Monday.
