Project of the Month - February 2

Our manager, Oleksandra used to work for an architectural company Cox, who developed the area. Now we are doing maintenance painting here.
As always with the office projects, we have to do painting over weekends and have everything perfectly nice and clean by Monday opening.

Project of the Month - February 1

This Mosman house is facing my most favourite place in Sydney – Chinaman Beach. Actually I discovered this beach last years when we worked on interior painting in this same house. This time we did some small exterior work. What a nice few days of work!

Project of the Month - January 2

They found lovely timber columns under the plaster work. So we were asked to remove partition to open it columns, patch and repaint walls and ceilings, strip the old paint from columns and varnish them. It looked really nice at the end. I'll add "After" photos when I upload them from my mobile

Boomerang Reclaimed Paint

This Canadian company collects unused paint and stain (even the hardened stuff!), reformulates it, then sells it in a recycled plastic container, at about half a price of the new paint of the same quality.
In 2008 Boomerang Paint recycled some 4,000,000 litres of paint!
To the best of my knowledge we do not have paints like this in Australia. Here even taking your left-over paint to recycling spot would cost you few dollars per litre. We have a lot to catch up!

Is your shower killing you?

I got it – no plastic should be heated! Anything plastic that smells is bad for you.
