Project of a Month - APRIL 2

We just completed painting for “Benleight” – Chatswood high-rise apartment block. At this stage we painted all exterior surfaces of a lower levels podium.

Blocks of units without a setback are always a bit of a challenge. You have to manage a pedestrian traffic safely. We also try to avoid using boom whenever possible – a council permit and fees usually make project unfeasible (you would think they want buildings in their area to be well maintained…). Claiming up and down a ladder all day with paint and rollers is much harder and slower then an easy ride in a boom lifts. But it helps to avoid council fees and keep the project cost down.

Ol’Painting just finished work on this 4-levels townhouse in Lane Cove North. Painting was a part of pre-sale preparation. Carmen Mearns from LJ Hooker Lane Cove has a great eye for showing a property full potential. She should be an interior designer!

The Trinity Bar is located in the heart of buzzing Surry Hills on Crown Street, just a few minutes walk from Central Station. One of Surry Hills oldest pubs, the Trinity Bar had just been refurbished and has a new cool and contemporary bar upstairs known as Edens Room. Amazing place, isn’t?

Project of a Month - MARCH 1

Ol’Painting just painted this semi-attached house at Double Bay. It had some minor cracks which is common for new houses. Also paint had aged quite significantly for its age. It seems that a lower quality paint was previously used.

At Ol’ Painting we only work only with the premium quality paints. I wrote in this article the benefits of the premium quality paint. I am very confident my paintwork will last much-much longer then the original!
